I realize I had yet to take any pictures of my cutie with the blanket I made him! Well I took a few :).

OK I don't have a picture yet of the whole thing done but I took a bunch of the animals, because they are the best parts of the blanket hope you all like them!

Waiting game begins

So I finally got an appointment for the echo. My OBGYN called and asked if Primary had called me yet, after I said now they called them and got me an appointment for me. Which is more then fine by me. I wanted I was getting really frustrated at the lack of someone calling me. Now the new annoyance. They were booked until Mid January! I won't be able to go in until January 20th, which *sigh* talk about frustrating. Now I know its not something that will not effect my little Aiden right now, the heart defect that he may or may not have will be something to deal with once he gets here. I just... I want to know. This not knowing if he has it or not is not easy. I'm trying not to think about it to much. I am doing my best to keep busy at work, which is hard we've slowed down. And any down time for me means me thinking way more then I should *sigh*. Anyways Christmas was good and I have pictures just haven't downloaded any to my comp, feel to overwhelmed with other stuff to get around to it.

Also I finished my blanket and Christmas eve and I know I need to take pictures of it to I just I dunno just not up to doing all that right now, just sounds and feels like a lot of work, that i don't want to do right now. My motivation for it is near zero. Oh well I'll get around to it eventually.

I woke up at about 5:30 this morning and could not get back to sleep so I'm on here making an update. First of Happy Thanksgiving and yay 4 day weekend for me! Boy do I NEED that. Well I went to my Doctor n Monday, everything seemed fine, though I have to go back in for another Ultrasound in a month. Apparently my little guy was not cooperative when it came for them to check the heart they couldn't get a good look at it and so want me to go back in so they can get a better view. Now what they had a clear view of looks great. Also I am at 22 weeks and have YET to gain a single pound, wow. Now my Doctor has said nothing about that fact and so it must be fine. I have noticed that places I was a little chubby am not really anymore. Seems my weight is just shifting form one place to another. I'm also feeling him kick a lot more now. I am really curious how Connor is going to react when he finally feels the baby move. I imagine hes going to freak out.

Lastly my blanket I had a goal to finish the cross stitch part of it by well today. I did it! Now on to the back stitching :). Once again I tweaked these photos with photoshop, the colors was really dull in my photo which is not like the blanket at all! bad lighting I'm thinking. Now I am going to follow the directions and the the back sitiching of one color at a time, first off pink.

Yay another square done! I love the butterflies on the blanket and there are only 2! Anyways here it is finished :)/.

Getting closer to getting to the back stitching of my blanket! Yay! Admittingly these are slightly photoshoped the camera keeps dulling out the color so I fixed it so it is more true to the color of the stitching on the blanket.

I am occasionally working on one other project atm, a Christmas card. My mom every year makes all of her Christmas cards and sends them out to family. I wan to surprise her by sending a handmade eon from me back to her. :) My goal is to have it done before Thanksgiving which wont' be hard!

Its a big work in progress atm.

Kids and cross stitch

My niece who was fighting some nasty viruses on top of other things is now home from the hospital. She hadn't been drinking anything so she was there on an IV. That's really all I know saw a post from my sis-in-law on her facebook they live in Hawaii so there four hours behind us and so they cam home at 2 am our time and its only 4 am there time atm.

Connor has made some head way in potty training finally. we now have a chart and he earns a sticker each time he uses the potty and he finally went number 2, twice in the potty. So yay progress!

This post isn't going to be to long work hasn't been fun I'm working non stop and at times ten hours... I've been a bit exhausted because of it! And haven't made much headway on my cross stitch blanket. been working on the Q since Sunday. Still I'll do a photo update and also this first picture is of my mini jedi. And yes that is a custom lightsaber... his daddy made it. Hubby is really good at making them!

Were also getting out of the house today off to the state fair to see cows, sheep, goats, pigs, bunnies and I want to take a look at the crafts area and see other people's cross stitch.

OK I am actually really trying to work a bit more on my cross stitch blanket. Because I want it done before the baby comes and that's March so yeah I need to get working! Was able to do a lot the last few days. Having not to work and my three year old is finally starting to self entertain himself. I just cross stitch were he' at but at least he's letting me work more on it! I realize I haven't posted any pictures of the whole blanket thought I would. Also I made it to the half way mark yay!

I just realized its been a long time since I posted any pictures of my cross stitch up so here is letter I, J and a WIP of K. Hope you guys like them!

Big project

I've been working on a big counted cross stitch project not even close to finishing it. It'll probably take me a year to do. below is a picture of a square I just finished. it took me a few weeks to do this one square and it has 28 squares.

And now here is the whole thing as of Friday. Before I had finished the above square. the other squares are not finished because I'm waiting to most of the back stitches until all of the cross stitching is done. Its a blanket.

Lastly I want to the Doll and Bear show yesterday with my mom. We use to go a lot but this is the first time I've gone since Connor was born. I kept telling myself that I'm just going to look but not buy! We'll we got there and I saw from a distance and Adora doll that I had wanted for the past ten years. One that my aunt Pam> I've teased her many times that if it disappeared she'd know where it ended up. Anyhow I didn't go look at the doll right off cause I know Adora dolls are 80 dollars and up. Not something I was going to spend. We looked a round for a bit there were a lot of old dolls which I've never been a big fan off. So we finally got to the one shop and I did a quick double take they had her marked as $35. Kept thinking they must have marked her wrong! No way would anyone sale a brand new Adora doll for that price. nope it was right and ok I admit she's sitting on my desk.

And yes there is another Adora doll sitting behind her. I admit these are my favorite dolls and the only ones I collect anymore. I Have 7. This is the first one I've bought since having Connor. these is one other I want really, really bad one Russ says he'll get me for Christmas or my birthday. Hope he follows through with that promise!
