He's one!!

Oh my goodness my little A turned 1 yesterday! What  a year it has been. His cousins from Hawaii are here right now. We too him and the kids to the zoo . It was the first time Aiden has been on a carousel. He was pretty calm the whole time.

I got him a little walker toy for his birthday because he is trying to walk now. He gas already taken several steps with it!

Outing

We went to the park on Saturday for my cousin's sons first birthday party. Its the first time I took Aiden really out and about. The weather was good and so it turned out really well.  Aiden was borrowed quite a few times by my aunts and uncle. The fact that he no longer has a feeding tube meant mire people were willing to hold him.

Connor had a lot of fun. He loves parks!

The forgetful Mommy

What per say am I forgetful about? That Aiden is 5 months old! he is just so darn little that yes I forget it but he certainly reminds me of it by not acting like the 2-3 month old that he slightly resembles. today is a very good example of this. I was sitting at my desk Aiden in my lap (I was pumping oh joy) and Aiden started to get upset. I couldn't get up yet so ignored him at first that was until he started kicking is legs yelling and then started crying/ screaming. Yup 5 month old had a tantrum caught me off guard!

So when I finally got up he stopped crying! And when I headed to Connor's room were Connor was playing he started to smile and once in the room and he saw Connor started to make his happy noises! Yes I need to stop seeing him as a newborn and instead as a baby his wants are starting to show! I am glad he wanted his brother I truly hope there relationship stays like this it'll make me a very happy momma! Now i do hope he is a little more mellow then Connor but he will be what he will be!

I know Aiden is little for his age and I wanted to see how much littler so I went and looked up old pictures of Connor and amazed to see there similarities and there differences.

3 months!

Stats: As of last Thursday (7th) my little guy was 10 pounds13 ounces, according to cardiology he has been weighed other times but they stated the most weight so taking that one!

Diapers: Still using size 1. Hes my little guy!

Clothes: He still fits in newborn but starting to fit into 0-3 month clothes.

Eating: Still on his feeding tube,  though he is doing better! Yesterday he drank two ounces from a bottle one ounce per two sittings and so far today hes done 2 ounces and I will be trying a bottle on him in a little while.

No more clogs.... please?

Sp these two put me through the ringer this week. I'm tired of ER visits lets just start by saying that. Those who are friends on my facebook didn't get the everything that happened I didn't post about one of our trips.

Tuesday night Connor who gets constipated from time to time got bad with it. he was jumping up and down screaming in pain. It came to the point that yes we headed to the ER He hadn't gone potty since Sunday night and even that one had been a lot of work for him. So were waiting for the Doctor and he's in pain and keeps saying the Doctor will help me over and over and we kept saying yes they will. Well he starts jumping up and down again crying in pain and... poops about 5 minutes before the Doctor comes in... yeah. So she comes in and checks.. no more blockage. were given some advice to help him in the future and discharged after being charged the Er copay.

New Look

First off I want to thank Jo for the books for my boys they both really like them! Whenever I show the one to little A his eyes get really big!

Only other thing to say is I changed the look of the blog! been wanting to make a banner for it and finally did. Its not the best of banners, I haven't done much on photoshop for quite sometime and so yes I'm rusty! But overall I'm happy with it.

Home

Ok took a few days off of the blog. Saturday Connor got to see his brother again. So far he has been such a good kid with him! Also my aunt Becky and my cousin Mandie did a quick visit.

While there the nurse mentioned that little A could be coming home on Sunday. So my parents left with Connor and we stayed around to do some training on his feeding tube.

More answers and brothers

Today we took Connor to see his brother. Nurses said it would be fine for him to see him and since we felt he needed to see him one more time before his surgery that today would be the best day. Connor was great about it he kept saying I like him and he's cute. he was also very gentle with his brother which was also good.
