CHD bookmark

Well first off Aiden is starting to eat solid foods yay! He's doing very well, he even finally fit into a 3-6 month onsie. Yay! Anyways wanted to post the CHD bookmark I made over here. i know I said I wanted to keep more cross-stitch off of here but its a CHD bookmark so yeah ;).

New blog

OK I decided that yes I wanted to move all of my cross stitch stuff to anew blog. This one started out as more my personal blog and I'm going to keep it that way. Because my kids will now be dominating this blog.  Talking about my kids I'm so happy with something my boogie boy is finally doing! In the last four nights he has slept in his bed ALL night for three of them. Well ok technically two but one of the times he woke up was 5 minutes before my alarm went off and after I got up to get ready for work he got up to watch Sesame Street and the other time was on Saturday and he didn't come in our room until about 8 and he fell back asleep! So I was able to sleep a bit longer to which I needed. Because since finding out about my little A I've been waking up each night at about 4 am and not being able to get back to sleep for about an hour or so :/. My cold is not helping! I've been sick on and off since the beginning of January!

I really do not have mush update rise on my little A other then me not being the greatest at times. I'm having occasional break downs, which well yeah.

Opinions needed

I realized this blog is going to take a very specific turn now, obviously from what we found out on Friday. So because of that I am thinking of making this more a personal blog following my little one to be and everything we have to go through with him, and his brother of course and taking my cross stitch and making a new blog for it. What do you all think? Keep posting with both things or separating it all? I am really thinking on splitting it up. Just not sure what to name the cross stitch blog... Something like Stitching from the Heart or... I don't know I'm terrible at naming things. Anyways untl I make my finally decision I'will post a quick update on my snowman. because what do you do when news hits you like it hit me? get busy with a project.

30 weeks

So my dues date is 10 weeks away! I finally got to Babies R Us and used my Christmas money/ gifts cards to buy some of what I need. I finally feel more ready now! I have been so behind on getting tings done, my house needs to be cleaned badly but I got a really bad cold and didn't do much the past 2 weeks because of it. It unfortunately hit the worse on my birthday of all days! I ended up working only 2 hours and went home and slept for 4. My birthday has never been taken as a big deal now that I'm an adult but this was by far one of the worse I've ever had, oh well there's always next year!

OK I don't have a picture yet of the whole thing done but I took a bunch of the animals, because they are the best parts of the blanket hope you all like them!

Waiting game begins

So I finally got an appointment for the echo. My OBGYN called and asked if Primary had called me yet, after I said now they called them and got me an appointment for me. Which is more then fine by me. I wanted I was getting really frustrated at the lack of someone calling me. Now the new annoyance. They were booked until Mid January! I won't be able to go in until January 20th, which *sigh* talk about frustrating. Now I know its not something that will not effect my little Aiden right now, the heart defect that he may or may not have will be something to deal with once he gets here. I just... I want to know. This not knowing if he has it or not is not easy. I'm trying not to think about it to much. I am doing my best to keep busy at work, which is hard we've slowed down. And any down time for me means me thinking way more then I should *sigh*. Anyways Christmas was good and I have pictures just haven't downloaded any to my comp, feel to overwhelmed with other stuff to get around to it.

Also I finished my blanket and Christmas eve and I know I need to take pictures of it to I just I dunno just not up to doing all that right now, just sounds and feels like a lot of work, that i don't want to do right now. My motivation for it is near zero. Oh well I'll get around to it eventually.

Ugh!

I really am sucking at updating! Of course this time of the year I have less time to update so very busy. Thanksgiving went well. Loved seeing how Connor was with my cousin's babies gave me hop to how he'll be when his little brother comes around!. I've been really slow at working on the blanket, got a bit more done just no pictures. Hmmm lets see what else. Well last week we went to the Festival of Trees, I love going to it every year and really feel its for a great cause. All the proceeds go to the Children's hospital.

Only heard one thing that I am still beyond disgusted about. A girl I use to work with found this guys wallet that had 270 dollars in it. She left her contact information so the guy can get into contact with her so she can return his wallet. Well he called the cops and  is claiming that 500 dollars is missing and claiming that yes she stole it.. the one who was trying to be a good person and tried to return a lost wallet! well now she has a court date and has to defended herself that she did NOT steal the money. I mean who would steal money from a wallet and then leave contact information for it! AND how does the guy even have proof that he had that much money in it? Just goes to show why less people are doing good deeds for others, its has a tendency to bite you in the ass anymore.We had plans to go the Hogle zoo tonight for the zoo lights but Connor is getting over a cold hubby has the cold full blown and I may have it, its either that are our crappy air.

Guess the only update for cross stitching is a pattern I just finished making for a pattern. Here it is below. hope it turns out never used my own pattern before!

Blanket closer to getting done!

I woke up at about 5:30 this morning and could not get back to sleep so I'm on here making an update. First of Happy Thanksgiving and yay 4 day weekend for me! Boy do I NEED that. Well I went to my Doctor n Monday, everything seemed fine, though I have to go back in for another Ultrasound in a month. Apparently my little guy was not cooperative when it came for them to check the heart they couldn't get a good look at it and so want me to go back in so they can get a better view. Now what they had a clear view of looks great. Also I am at 22 weeks and have YET to gain a single pound, wow. Now my Doctor has said nothing about that fact and so it must be fine. I have noticed that places I was a little chubby am not really anymore. Seems my weight is just shifting form one place to another. I'm also feeling him kick a lot more now. I am really curious how Connor is going to react when he finally feels the baby move. I imagine hes going to freak out.

Lastly my blanket I had a goal to finish the cross stitch part of it by well today. I did it! Now on to the back stitching :). Once again I tweaked these photos with photoshop, the colors was really dull in my photo which is not like the blanket at all! bad lighting I'm thinking. Now I am going to follow the directions and the the back sitiching of one color at a time, first off pink.

Sunday, snow, cross stitch and all that

I am having a hard time keeping up with posts! Work has taken my life over. This last week I worked 56 hours AND hit the half way mark in my pregnancy. I've been extra moody and crying a bit right now, just so very tired and the in-laws will probably be here Tuesday. Thet fky by stand by so you never know. It'll be a shock for them though they are from Hawaii and just take a look of the picture I took yesterday morning!

My nephews and niece have never been around snow so this could be interesting/ memorable. I worked 8 hours yesterday and hubby hasd to work to so I dropped my son off at Grandma's who the moment got out of the car started throwing snow balls at me :).

Short cross stitch update haven't had time to do much. Have three squares to go then back stitching will definitely get this done before March! My next big project will be making Christmas stockings for my kids and if I'm very motivate for hubby and myself!

Oh and yes Halloween went really well, people were actually home this year an my son won cute factor cause everyone gave him like 3 or 4 pieces of candy, lol.

Christmas card!

I know I've already posted today, BUT I finished the Christmas card and wanted to post it :). I haven't taped it in there yet just set it, wanted to see what it looked like. Overall I'm happy with it.

Getting closer to getting to the back stitching of my blanket! Yay! Admittingly these are slightly photoshoped the camera keeps dulling out the color so I fixed it so it is more true to the color of the stitching on the blanket.

I am occasionally working on one other project atm, a Christmas card. My mom every year makes all of her Christmas cards and sends them out to family. I wan to surprise her by sending a handmade eon from me back to her. :) My goal is to have it done before Thanksgiving which wont' be hard!

Its a big work in progress atm.

Wordless Wensday

The fair

The weather was perfect for the fair yesterday! Not to hot and a nice breeze. Connor was really excited to go when we told him there was different types of animals there, he turned everything off in the house and ran down the hall yelling I love animals! So yes we spent some time looking at all of the animals I brought my camera but only took a few pictures.It seemed everyone else decided to come to the fasir as well. There were a LOT of people. At times to many for me.

I also understand more why some people with strollers push themselves through you have to! People see a strooler and cut you of or don't give room for you to get through.b One place I wanted to go was see the bunnies. I love bunnies, but never had one as a pet my dad is really allergic to those little adorable animals *sighs*.

I had to take this next picture because oit was just to funny and made me think of Mother Goose.

I would rather have gotten a picture of them when they were walking about but to many people around. I did go and look at some of the cross stitch submitted and must say wow not sure I'd ever be that good some looked like photographs they were really good!

On our way out of the fair we had to cut through a building that was full of vendors because the pigs were being judged,. My parents were upfront, grandpa had Connor, hubby and I were trying to keep up when one boot stopped us both. It was full of sketches something we have hanging up all over the house.

The Jedi Mickey started it all and yes hubby did leave with a sketch, a Star Wars sketch. The one posted above.

Kids and cross stitch

My niece who was fighting some nasty viruses on top of other things is now home from the hospital. She hadn't been drinking anything so she was there on an IV. That's really all I know saw a post from my sis-in-law on her facebook they live in Hawaii so there four hours behind us and so they cam home at 2 am our time and its only 4 am there time atm.

Connor has made some head way in potty training finally. we now have a chart and he earns a sticker each time he uses the potty and he finally went number 2, twice in the potty. So yay progress!

This post isn't going to be to long work hasn't been fun I'm working non stop and at times ten hours... I've been a bit exhausted because of it! And haven't made much headway on my cross stitch blanket. been working on the Q since Sunday. Still I'll do a photo update and also this first picture is of my mini jedi. And yes that is a custom lightsaber... his daddy made it. Hubby is really good at making them!

Were also getting out of the house today off to the state fair to see cows, sheep, goats, pigs, bunnies and I want to take a look at the crafts area and see other people's cross stitch.

OK I am actually really trying to work a bit more on my cross stitch blanket. Because I want it done before the baby comes and that's March so yeah I need to get working! Was able to do a lot the last few days. Having not to work and my three year old is finally starting to self entertain himself. I just cross stitch were he' at but at least he's letting me work more on it! I realize I haven't posted any pictures of the whole blanket thought I would. Also I made it to the half way mark yay!
