Check out the Pioneer Woman.
She has easy recipes with pictures too. Her whiskey sliders are easy to make and tasty.

Buy a boneless pork loin and have the butcher slice it into 3/4 inch pieces. To cook, heat up a skillet that can go into the oven (I use cast iron). Once hot, spritz with a little olive oil and place pork cutlets in pan. Sprinkle exposed side with some seasoned salt. Pan should be hot enough that meat is sizzling and you get a nice golden brown sear within a few minutes. Flip and then put in oven to finish cooking. Searing the first side and then baking at 350 for ten to fifteen minutes keeps them moist and flavorful. Serve with baked potatoes and a nice salad :)

If you don't eat pork, you can use the same sear, flip, bake cooking method to get a tender and juicy steak. I like to put my steak in a marinade the night before--1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, and 1 tablespoon steak seasoning (sometimes a homemade blend but we also like Montreal steak seasoning)
