RIP Princess

This and that

 Love this picture of Aiden, Overall he's doing well he just doesn't show any desire to crawl at all. he just wants to stand with a little help from me. He grabs my hands and uses me to balance and stands up over and over and over again. I read into it some babies due skip crawling and just go straight to walking. found out his daddy did that! So will see were he goes with this.

Our bird Toodles finally abandoned her eggs and I got to clean out her cage which was a wee bit messy since I couldn't get to it sooner. At the bottom of this post is a picture of one of her eggs next to one of Connor's toy cars. Her eggs are tiny!

Parakeets

So we got two parakeets earlier this year one died but the other is dong well my hubby has been wondering for sometime on if the bird was a boy or a girl. Well we found this week what she is. And yes its definitely a she! I had no idea that a bird by itself would lay eggs, but she did at first just three but now its up to six.  Now these eggs are duds of course I mean we only have one bird so no baby birds. Thankfully. we got enough on our hands we don't need little baby birds!

I must say Connor has been so good with this birds, the bird is his named her Tootles (Mickey Mouse Club House). He changes her water all teh tiem and tells us when her food needs to be changed. NOw I had to look up what to do about her eggs. Right now we leave them be we ahve to wait until she abondons them before we can take the eggs out, If we take them to soon she'll just lay more eggs. Which I read can be bad for her so wait it out is what we will do.

Funny thing is my mom has a yellow parakeet and now keeps looking for eggs. The story behind how they got there bird and name for it is to good. My son was in there back yard with grandpa and a yellow bird flew by and hit there fence. My dad went over saw what it was picked her up and went and got my mom. An avid bird lover. Well she went and got her old bird cage put the bird in it. They did look to see if anyone had a missing bird missing and there was nothing. So they kept the bird and named it Thump.. becasue the bird thumped into there fence and got a home. Like I said cute story :).

Milestones

I must say overall my boys are doing really good! Connor has turned into a little story teller. Anything he does during the day turns into this whole story. He is also suddenly basically fully potty trained. Last week I got him to start wearing underwear during the day and diapers at night. On Wednesday he said he wanted to wear underwear to bed and has been wearing them ever since with no accidents!

I took him to the Dentist today and he did very well. I was worried he can either be really good or bad about things. He sat there and did everything very well. Guess I worried about it for nothing.

Aiden hit one of his milestones as well on Sunday he rolled over from his back to his tummy! What  I posted on facebook about it:

So had little A on his back on the floor Connor called for me left for just a moment came back and A was on his tummy! Yes he rolled onto his tummy for the first time when I wasn't there!

 I swear my boys do it on purpose ;).

Lastly on Friday had a scare Connor went to check on his bird ran out to me screaming. Thought he found a dead bird. Ran back expecting that and instead found a bird flying around in his room. Caught the bird and got him back to his cage. Talk about an adrenaline rush!

My kitty

Felt like doing a short post on my kitty. He's a great cat, rarely bites or claws. Lets my son pick him up and drag hi around the house and then goes back and rubs up against his legs. my little Pippy is what you call a rag-doll. Basically they have the temperamental of a rag-doll. He just flops and is very mild tempered. Though he does try to play with hubbie's cat who is to old for such things. Anyways I love my little puff ball to death and even more so because he is so could with Connor!

yay three day weekend!

Thank you for three day weekends!Been really busy a of late so hence the lack of posts. Working on two instruments at work an then switching to training at about 2 pm, I'm suppose to leave by 4 but the person i am training to take over my instrument doesn't bloody get there until well 2... he spends the rest of his time playing video games. Which yeah fine whatever but after I leave he is calling me or texting me questions about every other day! If he needs help he should get his ass to work earlier! cause I'm sick of staying around to help him :/.

Anyways that's my rant for the day the good thing is I think I get an extra hundred or so dollars because of all this stuff. Which is good because the car is up this month *sigh* the price for registration sure is going up! Now to switch to my geeky side. First off finally broke down and bought a book. I love the series by Kim Harrison and had yet to buy the newest book. Finally got myself to buy it because the books I've been reading haven't all been that great. Just got it this week and half way through :).

And one more thing found this on etsy.com and this isn't normally something I'd do but I love it just wish I had extra money to get it. not sure when or how I'd ever use it just ok I like it :p.

Oh! and the birds are doing great their names or Toodles and Tido. Toodles is named after this:

The little guy next to MIckey he's in Mickey Mouse clubhouse. And Tido is named after an owl from Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.

Birdies

was going to post this whole ting but tired and feeling sick to my stomach so I'm just gonna say we got two parakeets today. Wanted some new pets and decided on birds. I'll admit I prefer birds over fish. So yup two new birds.

Frogs

Darn we bought two African dwarf frogs over the weekend and one already died! I love my kitties but I wanted some other type of low maintenance pet with them and well this isn't turning out well. We got two but there social and do not like being alone. I don't know though if I should bother buying another because of how fats the first one died. Luckily I found it when Connor was asleep and disposed of it before he saw. Hopefully he's young enough to forget that there were two frogs in there. we have only had them for three days!
